Rush Health Systems relies on Venture's Managed Services

When Rush Health Systems needed a managed services provider to host and manage its e-mail and firewall and intrusion detection systems, the Meridian, Miss.-based healthcare provider called Venture Technologies.

“With minimal staff available, we looked for an outside source to provide these services,” said Angela Sherrill, corporate director IS for Rush Health Systems. “We were familiar with Venture and the expertise of their staff.”

Venture Technologies provides its NetHost managed e-mail services and NetArmor seamlessly linked the medical network, which consists of two hospitals, a long-term acute care facility, a short-term acute care facility, multiple clinics including rural health clinics, and a home health agency.

“We’ve been pleased with the outcome,” said Sherrill. “We’ve been able to expand our capabilities, provide e-mail to our users, and better secure our business.”
